Wild Blue can help get you through the year.
Resources for a full year.

The slideshows are designed for note-taking. There are currently no guided note sheets. These are meant for students to copy into a year long notebook. Various “notebook activities” are found within the slides that have students cutting, gluing, diagramming, drawing on maps, graphing, etc. These are great for breaking up the notes and keeping students engaged.
The slides are all FULLY EDITABLE. You can add, edit, or delete the information to best fit your classroom and the time that you have!

The classwork varies for each unit. You will not find the typical, vocab-heavy, cookie cutter, review sheets for each unit. Instead you will have a variety of case studies, close read assignments, graphing activities, interactive digital webquests, and much more throughout the year. Each unit is unique!
There are only a handful of lab activities.
-
There are no unit tests, as this course is designed to be more skills based than content heavy. Instead, there is a Google Form quiz for each unit. These are multiple choice and 10 to 20 questions each. They are best used as an open-note quiz.
-
There are daily slides for you to use as warm-ups, exit tickets, or just basic review. These may include writing, vocab review, watching a video, a quick graph, a drawing, etc. Also provided is a handout sheet for students to do these bellringer activities on.

Please be aware that these resources are almost ALL Google documents that must be downloaded to a Google Drive. Please be aware that you are purchasing 100+ separate items and the process of downloading them does take some time. I suggest doing this one unit at a time.
How much is the Full Year Bundle?
The bundle is currently priced at $197. It can be purchased on TeachersPayTeachers. This price works out to about $6 a week! The bundle includes 107 products. The bundle does go on sale (20% 0ff) when TPT throws a site-wide sale.
Don’t want to spend that much? Check out the Smaller Bundles page.
What does the bundle include?
There are 18 full units included, with a growing list of “bonus topics” to give you flexibility. It is more than enough material to last a full school year. The slideshow below gives a glimpse of what each of the 18 units look like. You can also use the tab at the top of the page to visit the Full Resource List. When you visit the TPT page for the bundle, you will also see a detailed preview for all items. Daily lesson plans are also included for each unit and these can be viewed for free using the tab at the top of the page.
Are the resources digital or printable?
Both! This bundle is best suited for an in-person classroom teacher that sometimes incorporates computer work. The majority of the assignments are printable handouts. However, there are a variety of digital assignments included that involve accessing maps, creating digital graphs, doing internet research, etc. About 20 of them actually include both printable and digital versions, to give you flexibility. All of the digital assignments are Google Docs, Sheets, or Forms and easily assigned through Google Classroom.
How rigorous is the curriculum?
These resources were created for an on-level Marine Science class. Most of the topics are science content that they’ve learned previously, in middle school or in Biology class (for example, food chains, classification, properties of water, etc). This course reinforces those basic science concepts with a focus on the ocean, which brings in new information that they may be unfamiliar with, but aren’t difficult concepts to grasp. Instead of heavy content and difficult tests, there is instead a focus on reading comprehension, graphing skills, organization skills, and class discussions. There are more resources in this bundle than you’ll be able to utilize in one school year, so that allows for some flexibility in choosing which assignments work best for your class, and which ones you may want to skip.
